Three 1964 ORIGINAL Photographs of Tribal Dancing at a boy scout Jamboree; each photograph measures 3.1/2" x 5"; each are different; black and white; in very good condition. Please take a look at our other items. We are listing items everyday. We have artwork, primitives, signs, dolls and related items, antique books, folk art, rare, unique, and hard to find items. Something for everyone. Thank you. An original photogravure from the scarce first edition Joseph Dixon and Rodman Wanamaker book "The Vanishing Race," published by Doubleday, Page and Co. in 1913, which chronicled the Last Great Indian Council of Chiefs. Like the work of Edward Curtis, Wanamaker's photogravures are prized for their emotive, arresting imagery of Indians - and are equally scarce and eminently collectible. Richly printed on fine paper and bearing the plate mark of the gravure printing process. This plate is an arresting portrait of Chief Umapine. Image size is 7" by 4.25", overall area of plate is 6.5" by 9.75". In excellent condition. This is an original plate from the first edition, not a reprint.
