Rich Brown Framed Art by Pat McAllister Native American Artist 'Out of the Mist' 2007~ Frame is finished hardwood (oak), 16" x 13". Brown suede mat, under glass.
The artist has her own gallery in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She is my ideal Artist. She was the cover of Indian Gaming magazine, November 2007. Quoting from page 18 of her story, "When overwhelmed, the Native American has always been able to reach inside himself for dignity, pride and strength". I personally named the 3 white horses those powerful words! I love this art and I can't tell you when or where I got it, I just can't find a place in my home and thought someone would love to have it.
It is a print and not an original painting, I'm sure, due to the size.
I don't know if the writing on the back of the picture is her signature or some other owners. I did buy it from an estate sale or shop, not new from the artist. I make no claim to the origination or value of this piece, other than it's worth hanging and enjoyed.
