It was never used but the switch on the side is loose , it doesn’t work
The display lights up - we tested it - when you insert batteries ( 3 AA not included) but it doesn’t go to OFF mode so it stays lighted
It might turn of if you play with it for a while but generally switch doesn’t work the way it should
