It is powered by a 6V adapter (which is included). This miniature merry-go-round has Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy riding carousel horses that really prance! The carousel will play either 25 Christmas carols or 25 classic year round tunes, you choose the setting you desire. The carousel has been used but is still in great condition and works wonderfully! The carousel is still in the original box, but the box is worn as shown in photos.
