As an award winning Pueblo potter, Robert Tenorio began learning the hand coiling technique at the age of 10. After the pieces are shaped, they are fired outdoors with cottonwood bark. The color black in his pottery generally comes from boiling the Rocky mountain bee plant. All of his works are signed on the inside bottom of the the pot with the small dipper constellation formation. This pot is 9 1/2" in diameter and 9" tall.
