This wonderful large "Flute Player" pot is about 8" tall and 8" wide. It was made by Westly Begaye who was born in 1965 to a Navajo father and an Acoma mother. The pot is circled with Kokopellis (The flute player) and other Native American symbolism. It is marked "Westly B. 2003 Contemporary Pottery 'The Flute Players'". In pristine condition with no chips or cracks.

Condition: Wonderful condition with signs of genuine age and use. Minor scratching to the painted finish, but no other damage.

Description: You are bidding on a wonderful piece of Hopi or Pueblo Native American Indian pottery. The round bowl has a great red/orange interior with hand painted geometric design around the edge. The bottom is signed, what appears to say Belong to the Keyopei. This piece was obtained from a local South Carolina estate. Check out my other auctions for more Native American pottery.
