Well executed and lovely large storage jar made by the wife/ husband team Lisa Holt &Harlan Reano. This wonderful jar measures 15” tall x 12” wide. Lisa (Cochiti) makes the jars which are then painted by Harlan(Santo Domingo). Three colors are typically used in painting their pots with the red and cream coming from native clay and the black derived from wild spinach. A red slip was used to paint the accent lines throughout the “spider” pattern. This very large jar will make a wonderful addition to Native American pottery collection.
