Lonnie Vigil Pot
Here's a vintage pot made by Laguna Pueblo potter Lonnie Vigil. This hand coiled micaceous tan and brown pot has a 4-section curved geometric pattern around the top and measures approximately 5" x 5-1/4". The oval opening is slightly irregular. Signed on the bottom:

This is one of Lonnie's earlier works. It was purchased by the previous owner at the Cottonwood Trading Post, San Ildefonso Pueblo, NM in June 1989.
Lonnie receives spiritual guidance for his pottery through his great-grandmother Perfilia Anaya Pena and great aunts of whom were all potters.
Condition: Measures approximately 7-1/4" tall and 8" in diameter. No chips or cracks. Surface has minor wear. See photos.
