Unsigned Native American Black-On-Black Pottery
This is a very nice 4.5” x 6” black ware black in black pottery bowl. It is 3 inches deep. It is made in the style of Santa Clara pottery, but it is unsigned. This was purchased at an estate sale, so I was unable to find out the origin. I own several pieces of this pottery, and this is made in the same style as mine. However, there are no markings or stamps on this bowl.
San Ildefonso pottery also makes this type of black ware pottery.
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is one irregularity on the pot rim, which I have shown in the photo. This occurred while it was being created.
