It measures approximately 7" tall x 4" wide x 5 1/2" deep. The bottom is marked "Vangie Suina".
Vangie has been working with clay art since the age of 22 (in the early 1980's). This is one of her earlier pieces.

We are pleased to present this beautiful piece of Santa Clara pottery featuring the Avanyu Serpent which goes entirely around the pot. The Avanyu Serpent is both respected and feared and symbolic of the search for water. Feathers are etched along the body of the serpent.
