Lovely black and white photograph of a Native American woman and child. Most likely from the Tohono O’odham nation in Tucson, Arizona. Photographer Ralph Hopewell Anderson spent time in Yosemite National Park in many roles including photographer. He traveled to Tucson, Arizona often. Photo measures about 5 1/2” x 7 1/2”. We have numerous impressive historical Native American photographs from the 1930’s including Tohono O’odham, Papago, Pima, Yaqui, Navajo, and more.
