today is this lovely Laguna sgraffito jar. Measuring 3 and a half inches in
diameter, it was created by the famous Sally R. Garcia. Sally, born in 1940,
has been creating pottery for 7 decades. She is the very first potter in either
Acoma or Laguna to make use of etched design motif, which has become awesomely
popular. Her work took First Place in pottery at the New Mexico State Fair in
1979, 1980 and 1981. It is an honor to present such a fine piece to you. Buy
