Vintage Navajo weaving in good condition.
Beautiful pattern measuring in at a monumental 5 feet long by 3 feet wide.
Edges show fraying and wear. The structural integrity of the weaving is not affected and the textile can be hung and displayed without issue.
Has prominent lazy lines throughout, and the red color remains strong with minimal bleeding into light surrounding areas.
Overall a beautiful example.

Classic Two Grey Hills rug by Allen Begay (husband of Lucy Begay, whose work is featured at the Heard Museum)
Purchased new from Bob French rugs several years ago and lovingly stored out of sunlight in our smoke free home.
Great hanging size of 3 1/2 ft x 2 1/2 ft.  Hand carded natural undyed wool (except the black, which is commercial wool).  Perfect condition and symmetrical.
These rugs are becoming harder to obtain, as not many of the younger generation are taking up weaving.
We guarantee all Native American items for sale are authentic.
Please email any questions before bidding.  Shipping to US contiguous states only. Payment due within 48 hours of auction end.
