Navajo Rug by high Grade Weaver Maxine Yazzie
A fine Navajo rug from our personal collection.
This finely weaved Navajo rug is a Two Grey Hills ‘Natural Storm Pattern’
rug which is a display rug as it measures approx.. 15” x 22”. The rug has its original ‘Genuine Navajo Rug’ label from Gallup NM and is dated 7 - 8 – 1988 . Her name is on the tag and her age was 86 in 1988 which makes her one of the oldest weavers you will find. Beautiful and excellent condition as you can see in the photos. No bleeding, fading or damage and make sure to look at e fine quality of the weaving.
This is a Rare one and is a Verified Maxine Yazzie Rug.

This handsome vintage Navajo “Gallup throw” weaving measures 39" x 19” not including the fringe (it’s approximately 45” long including the fringe). It’s beautifully woven, and the natural (I believe) dyed colors—variegated gray, cream, gold, dark brown—are warm and rich. The design is clean and very striking! It’s in very good vintage condition overall, apart from a moth nibble or two and one tiny rust spot. Please take a close look at the photos (sorry about the accidental shadows).
