Native American Avanyu (Sea Serpent) vase, from San Ildefonso Pueblo.
Pot measures approximately 3.5" tall by 3.0" across at the mouth, by 4.0" across at widest point.
This piece comes from the first half of the last century, pre-WWII.
Condition-wise, no appreciable wear that I see on the piece, but the flat, non-polished upper sections show finish irregularities and small light-colored pops from firing.
I don't see any repairs, nor any paint touch up anywhere.
