Greetings, up for auction is this very nice ceramic pot made
by Mida Tafoya from the Santa Clara Pueblo. Mida was born
in 1931 and comes
from an important family of Santa Clara
artists, her Grandmother
was Sarafina Tafoya, her Mother
was Christina Naranjo and
Mida is the niece of
Margaret Tafoya.
The pot is about 4½" x 4½" and is in excellent condition
Shipping to the 48 States will be about $10, other locations

Great looking old redware from Santa Clara in a pleasant small bowl form. Made of all hand coiled native clay in the traditional way and painted with a hand made yucca brush plus a hand burnished finish. Nice form to add to your display and it has NO RESERVE !
