This is a large wood box with a signed Lawrence Vargas Southwest Tile in the Lid. The tile is signed on the tile and signed and dated 1994 on the back of the lid. 9 X 11 X 3 1/2 inches. Very good vintage condition.

Offered is a very rare pottery bird basket by Hopi potter, Laura Tomasi (active 1930-1968). The pottery bird basket is in very good condition; no chips; no cracks. It has a great folk art appeal and measures 9.5 x 7 x 5 inches. The underside is signed and dated 1938.
