Vintage Handwoven Navajo Rug. 40” x 19”.
Purchased by family members during trips through the southwest via automobile in the 1920’s to 1940’s.
Machine stitched around the rug and 2 corners are folded over. Deep brown, red and cream colors. Two tassels intact, nice tight weaving overall. Ends do not appear to be frayed.
Condition is "Used". Some spots of dirt as i do not believe this has ever been washed.

woven by Joan Johnson a native American of the Navajo tribe residing in
Vanderwagon N.M.
Joan is pictured holding some of her her rugs ( the ones she
is holding are not the what you will receive you will receive the one pictured
by itself).
