Anderson and his wife Avelia work together to make many types of pottery, including the large olla. Often Avelia does the sanding and polishing while Anderson designs the flowing lines of deer with heartlines, water serpents, lizards and other contemporized other animals. He is considered by many to be among the best contemporary Zuni pottery painter. Both Anderson and Avelia have work in many galleries.
The precise gentle flowing lines are demonstrated in this large olla
and the addition of color highlights them
showing his skill using animals. The shape and finish are
superb
