Thank you
Description:
You are bidding on vintage Pottery / Ceramic Jar from the late Maricopa Potter Barbara Johnson (1925 - 2004). One of the top potters of her time, her designs were simple and elegant - applied to ceramics that were had built then burnished to achieve the smooth luster. The piece stands 6 1/4" high and has a diameter of about 4 1/4". There are no chips, cracks or hairlines. The original purchase tag from the White Hogan was found inside. There is the typical shelfware to the bottom - consistant with vintage pottery pieces. Fresh from a local estate you are buying in as found condition. I have a bowl by Barbarsa that I am listing as well - see lsast picture - but you are buying only the jar in this auction.
