ESTATE LIQUIDATION - I inherited this collection of Native American pottery and rugs. I am not an expert in either category but will share any information that I have. Most pieces were purchased at auction in the 1990s in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Many items have original auction tags attached.
Vintage Wool Native American Navajo Blanket by maker Lillie Goldtooth. Size is 16" x 26". Kept in a smoke free home. Selling in advance of household move. Original auction tag still attached.
Lovely early Navajo storm pattern rug. Most likely woven in the Tuba City area of Arizona, north of Flagstaff. Measures 58” x 28”. Nice color, clean, with no odors. Looks to be woven of churro wool, in beige, brown, grey, and red.
