Authentic vintage Two Grey Hills wool woven Saddle blanket (rug or wall hanging). 1950’s or earlier.
40” x 22” with tassels at corners. See pictures. Background info: My friend’s father used to trade with Native Americans for dentistry back in the 1950’s New Mexico. This was handed down to her.
4 Weaving books - Learning to Weave by Deborah Chandler a hard cover book in very good  condition. The Story of Navaho Weaving by Kent a paper back is in used condition but informative with photos of blankets from Heard Museum. Navajo and Hopi Weaving Techniques by Mary Pendleton is a Paperback Book in good condition covering 2 different approaches to weaving.  Weaving is for Anyone by Jean Wilson Hardcover in good condition.  All are great reference books and cover in-depth information as well as wonderful illustrations and project ideas from different perspectives.  Books will be sent by priority mail.
